End the UN Veto vote
It is time to end the veto power that is protecting the countries that are war mongering.
All governments in the world, especially those who are not permanent members of the UN Security Council, need to require a review of the veto power contained in the UN Charter that means just one permanent member of the UN Security Council abstaining from a vote can prevent any meaningful action by the UN to stop atrocities.
Even a requirement that 75% of the Security Council needs to support a resolution rather than every member would be an improvement that will save many millions of lives over future decades.
