Tech laws should be universal to keep kids safe

Big tech, any tech, is currently regulated by a mix of self control and limited rules in the more sophisticated states like China and the EU. So, when, for example, 'companionship' bots are developed to monetise the development of emotional relationships with young people, there is a massive risk there will be no control over the lengths to which tech companies behind behind them will go to keep monetising. Keep monetising Keep monetising. This idea is that the UN needs to develop expert committees that will recommend rules to be applied by all countries, across the globe, to keep tech safe. For all children in the world - not just rich kids. And bodies for international enforcement. That's not big brother. That is stopping big brother.
