'The mob is too dangerous to make decisions' is a myth. I recommend a book called Human Kind A Hopeful History, by Roger Bergman, which debunks the myth and explains the reasons for it. In fact if you allow people to self select issues to engage in decision making, the right people will come together - Wiki Government by Beth Novak. All that is required are conditions to suit - an independent platform for people without common prejudices to come together - James Suriewecki, the Wisdom of Crowds. And if it is not to make a decision, your ideas placed here can at least help decision makers, rather than them simply sitting in your head or at your dinner table.
