In a world where the content we see and even seek out is fundamentally determined by algorithms, school should become a place for kids to experience the content of the past. What was once mainstream may never cross their paths otherwise, but these works are part of the fabric that has shaped human society. I would personally be happy if my kids were watching a movie a week at school.
