Work flexibility and gender roles
It is often argued that flexible work from home arrangements benefit women/mothers the most, and when workplaces push for workers to return to the office (post covid times), it is argued that this disproportionately negatively impacts women/mothers.
This argument reinforces unfair gender roles by suggesting that women are mostly responsible for child care and housework.
If anything the argument should centre around parents as a whole, not mothers. Otherwise, you are unintentionally burdening those you are championing.
