It is time for the human race to come to terms with the reality that we are one civilization, and not hundreds. Right? We are all joined at the hip - at least, by our phones in our hip pockets. We are all as much neighbours via the technology revolution as next door neighbours of centuries past. We are one group - with many cultures, that is as true as it is wonderful - but we have many common interests, as well. Peoples within a civilization that cannot organize itself are like the children on the island in Lord of the Flies - in a a mess. That is precisely what we are tuning our island planet into, at the moment - a fiery mess. So let us start acting like one great big beautiful civilization, and... organize ourselves! Thinking people of the world - start communicating with each other! Not any more about just local politics, but let us start to talk to each other about global politics. Not anymore about whether we need global order, but about HOW to obtain global order. Theories about global order being a conspiracy are old hat. They are just a weak excuse to avoid a hard problem - HOW do we organize ourselves? This needs work. So, lets get to work! Start here!
