Trump treats his constituents like 8 year olds. Speak to them in baby talk and then if they are starting to get unhappy, point to a spider on the wall, whether it is there or not. And repeat, but with a UFO the sky. Then a pimple on your nose. The trouble is that Trump is so important to world politics, that the whole world media are constantly therefore reporting on spiders, UFOs and pimples. The real issues that will affect us the most, and that deserve our attention, are of course around the continuing destruction of our 'commons'. Our atmosphere, our oceans. Even near earth space. Did you know that global greenhouse gas emissions are climbing right now, just when the graph needs to fall off a cliff if we are to avert a global ecological catastrophe? Trump is controlling your attention. This has to stop. Traditional media, social media and we the people ourselves need to grow up. We need to focus way more attention on the big issues for us and our children. Trump will be gone soon enough.
