No government has the right to make laws concerning life's intent. Life is something not one of us controls, and we are all subject to it. Plants were not designed by us, and though we alter them through many means, there is no control over what they do. We cannot dictate where they go or how they change. For this reason no corporation or business entity can claim origin or originality, and if they can't control it they don't own it. Many of the most illegal plants are actually quite beneficial to humans but are poorly understood and might threaten the healthcare industry.
