Artificial intelligence and global democracy

AI may come up with great ideas for political policy, but as long as people live and breathe, they will be the voters in any democracy. The real value of AI to democracy is this: One element of democracy is consultation and collaboration - the consolidation of ideas and proposals for actions by like minded people. That is the heartbeat of democracy. There has, however, never been that collaboration on a scale large enough to develop policy that will effectively tackle global issues, as opposed to local or national issues. This is for two reasons: 1. complacency of local politicians and their constituents on global affairs that in the end will impact us more than any local policy; and 2. Helplessness, as we do not know who we can trust anymore to collaborate with that widely, anyway. These will be overcome in the following 2 ways: 1. The impacts of complacency to global issues on our lifestyles will increasingly become apparent through weather events and the like; and 2. the intersection of AI with blockchain technology to identify people we are collaborating with: AI can rapidly and comprehensively read, understand and correlate data at incredible speed, allowing new platforms to validate the identity of individuals in a voting system on the spot, creating valid consensus. In the future, voting platforms like this one that adopt this technology will be able to lead to actions across the globe. Bring on AI ID.
