Access to aid in Syria

The Syrian government are allowing international aid agencies, such as "Medicins Sans Frontiers" (Doctors Without Borders), to operate only in government controlled areas of the country. This is unprecedented. In all wars, including the Somalia war, all sides always acknowledge such agencies should have access to civilian populations. Yet there are NGO's who are ready, willing and able to help injured children in Syria, but who cannot gain access to them because they are denied by the regime. That is not good enough. Assad should grant access to such agencies in all areas of his country, or be held to account by all people in the world.
