The Greatest Sacrifice

Do we need a Great Pause where all affluent people in the world (anyone who has the ability to catch a plans) slow our travel, consumption and economic activity while we green up the grids and plant some trees? Governments will say no. They need there to be economic activity to stay in power. But we are world citizens too.
