what we perceive may not be everything that there is
You are in a desert taking a phone call.
A tiny ant races across the screen of your cell phone, across the background of the smartphone, on which is a picture of the sea.
Now, what does the ant know of what lies under the sea?
It has touched its blueness with its feet, but what hope does it have of understadning what lies under the sea.
So it is with humans in our understating of the universe. There are some dimensions that exist, as sure as night follows day, it is just that we are limited in what we can possibly perceive.
On this basis, in my opinion, no person can presume to understand the meaning of life.
