If you lived in a certain state in a certain country in 2024, and you were Arab, you were bombarded with information that a particular party that was running for government was pro Arab and anti Israel. If you were Jewish and lived in that (swing) state, you were bombarded with social media content about how that same party was pro-Israel and cautious of Arabs. Now look where we are. If there was a requirement for integrity in campaigning, for example so that this kind of practice would disqualify a candidate, the world might be a better and safer place. I know it is more regulation, and nobody likes that, but this is one space that really needs to be regulated,
