A shorter path to a more sustainable world is incentivising collaborative research, which will benefit ourselves and future generations. Collaborative efforts can further be improved by the development of open access platforms where innovators can share their ideas without barriers. Regulatory support could also see policies implemented that support the development and sharing of sustainable innovations. This could include financial support such as tax incentives or grants for sustainable projects. Patent reform could also make it easier for sustainable innovations to be shared and adopted.
