I am a young person and when I do my own research I can see a lot of very incredible things happening around the world that will have profound consequences for humankind. These include new revelations around the impacts of pollution on the ability of future generations to survive. Yet mainstream news services seem to be fixated on traditional tropes like 'someone was assaulted in my population of 1 million people' or 'a politician said this, or that'. The most consequential things for me are what scientists are saying about the changes that are happening to the world. I would like more news about that. Among other things, that will help me to plan around how to act, vote and help fix the problem. Thank you for listening.
