In the words of Richard Feynman "for a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." Science, being the process of acquiring information about the world and how it works, doesn't care who you are or what your opinions are. Nature is the ultimate judge, jury and executioner. The best step forward is the one that puts reality above public relations. What we should considering is what kind of system can best achieve this. My idea: an AI model that we feed our scientific facts. Let it make our decisions with less political bias.
