Plant one tree per month (or more)
Why are we, as society, not actively encouraged to plant trees?
On average, a tree absorbs somewhere around 15 kg of CO2 in its first 20 years of life.
If we all plant a tree this year, that's a lot of CO2 removed from the atmosphere. If we all plant a tree each month of this year, that's an enormous reduction in atmospheric CO2 over the next 20+ years!
Really, planting trees should be incentivised. Until then, let's encourage each other and band together to green up this planet!
