I propose that all democratic governments add a "None Of The Above" option to every ballot. How it will work: If the majority of the voting population votes for "None Of The Above" then the election is void. The candidates are removed and new ones are picked. When you vote for a candidate you are basically saying that you think they will do a good job in that office. What happens when you don't think that any of the candidates will do a good job? Do you default to your favorite party? Do you just not vote? I think that's what many people do. What better way send a message to our governments to do better? Besides, do you really want someone who only got 9% of the votes of the people to get the office? This is a very real possibility if 91% of the people didn't show up to vote just because they didn't like any of the candidates.
