one way to recycle your scraps is to have free range chickens in your back yard. just throw them your scraps and the next day, hey presto, you will have eggs! I would also suggest every suburb have a designated chicken slaughterer and plucker, who can humanely turn your chicken into dinner. That is a job a robot cannot do and will employ one more person in every suburb of your city. ok so this may not be thought through very well. But we should all be looking for ways also to stop relying on long distance import of food in this age of excessive fossil fuel use. So I stand by my idea.
