It is now 2024 and almost every country has a process for citizens to engage in some kind of deliberative democracy process where constituents can throw up ideas on the interest for their governments to legislate. Two of the more advanced countries at Taiwan with their vTaiwan and Norway with its Polis platforms. This platform could serve as a kind of deliberative democracy for global governance. What structures do we need or want, and can we even just make decisions based on what the majority want, or is that impossible. How do we know if we do not try?
