A short refelection on what is real and what is not
I have a thought experiment that I would like to put to the people of the world, and see what answers come up:
1. I accept that if nobody sees or hears something, then it can still be real and exist.
2. I would even allow an argument that something that is imagined exists, as it exists in someones imagination.
3. But if a person had an imagination, or let's say a dream, where something happened, and then they forget about that dream, my question is did that someting ever exist
(a) from the perspective of the dereamer;
(b) from your prerspective and
(c) objectively?
4. If it is the case that it only ever existed objectively - as a dream that someone forgot, but nobody knows about and no person or thing, real or imagined, ever did, can does or will know about - then does it really exist objectively?
