The fact we are stardust coalesced into a freakish order whereby we can realize the existence of ourselves and the universe has got me wondering. If we are parts of the universe (and nothing else but parts of the universe) and we are observing the the universe, then it must be true that the universe is observing itself. As nothing can observe itself unless it is alive, the universe itself must be alive. Right?
