California Forever and Neom to name a couple. Combine the investments of these and the investments of the disaster preppers who spend a mint on self preservation schemes, and you'd probably have enough to cover the cost of greening the grids of some of the most polluting countries in the world and avert an apocalypse in the first place. I'm not saying they should have to spend that money that way. Just that it would be nice if they did.
