Global Rights Education

There should be a concerted global effort to make people aware of their rights as laid out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. If people were more aware that their governments had (as most have) committed themselves to this treaty, and what that entailed for them as citizens, they would be harder to abuse and oppress.
