Antonio Guterres is a very good Secretary-General of the United Nations. He says things that need to be said. For example: The the countries of the world are at the moment like a dysfunctional family. And words like "The era of global warming has ended; the era of global boiling has arrived. Leaders must lead. No more hesitancy. No more excuses. No more waiting for others to move first. There is simply no more time for that. It is still possible to limit global temperature rise to 1.5 degrees Celsius and avoid the very worst of climate change. But only with dramatic, immediate climate action. " The words are right but the messaging is not working. I vote the next UN Secretary-General is not a product of bureaucracy, but a product of the arts. A person who will inspire. A person who might inspire this particular family to get its shite together.
