There should be a hub in each country, called ' Greening Australia', (or whatever country it is) that has these functions: 1. Identify where forestation or reforestation in that country is required and engage with relevant stakeholders at those locations. 2. Manage education and encouragement of citizens of that country who may wish to support projects through growing or propagating seedlings as a hobby or as voluntary work. 3. Manage working bees where people can go to plant and water those seedlings; and 4. Manage offsets paid by airlines and others who want to contribute to reforestation projects, including by identifying and directing funds to the most needy projects for reforestation in the world. This would end up being a cost neutral series of organizations that could regreen the planet.
