Give globe a kelping hand
The oceans have to part of the solution to the climate crisis, after all they store most of the worlds carbon.
I read recently that more whales means more whale poop that means more phytoplankton blooms that cause the ocean to suck up CO2.
But it is also the case that kelp forests store huge amounts of carbon. Kelp forests might not be suited everywhere, but I vote for :
A world kelp forest committee to identify every location in the world where there was once a kelp forest and it is no longer there (and suitable places for them that might now exist because the global sea temperature has risen in the last 50 years) and report to a nature fund set up by the UN to reinstate those kelp forests, no matter where in the world, and no matter that the relevant countries do not pay.
