People in countries in Scandinavia are said to be leading the way in flight conscience - people who think twice about going on holidays by plane because of the emissions. This idea is that there should be a flight consciences index that is publicized everywhere, so that countries compete, and people think twice before booking a plane ticket, even if all of us will continue to travel excessively in this time of urgent slashing of global emissions. None of us want it, but... maybe we all need it?
