'Move fast and break things' - the old Facebook motto that encouraged engineers to release technologies first, and fix problems later. "Do not apply that motto to AI" is what Demis Hassabis, a founder of Google's Deep Mind AI generating software is warning to Elon Musk and other break way competitors in early 2023. Chat GPT and similar open source services are fantastic and beneficial for humanity. Let's hope the people in charge of it are listening to Mr Hassabis.
