Most countries in the world have signed the Ottawa Treaty banning land mines. People should call out and pressure countries that have refused to sign,, their recalcitrant behaviour has and is causing untold suffering to people and animals, many of whom are innocent, and are not killed but seriously maimed by them. Russia United States Saudi Arabia India should join the 136 countries who have signed. Failure to sign these kinds of things lead to the kind of suffering we will see in the Ukraine for years to come as people accidentally tread and land mines and lose limbs, well after the war. those countries should signthe Ottawa treaty.
