Tree planting in urban areas

We should start planting more trees and hedges in cities and towns, by the roads and sidewalks etc. A relatively cheap way to help local wildlife and provide shade to cool cities down during the hotter months, provide some jobs, and of course sequester carbon. No downsides. Baby steps add up - we need to give it all we got.
