Because climate change is shortly to have such a big, everlasting and devastating effect on the world, all future generations and other species, we should give it a minute a day - whether through some news service, an app, or some other medium. For example, an app could tell us what are the biggest sources of emissions, in order, what steps are being announced to reduce them each day, and the current CO2 parts per million in the atmosphere. Obviously, not everybody will get involved. But the more consciousness there is of the problem, the more likely it will be resolved.
