When we think of the interruption caused to our lives caused by Covid, let's spare a thought for the generations we will be leaving behind. Even if there is a 50% chance the climate scientists are right, what a selfish generation we are to take that chance with the lives of those who follow us. There will be no reprieve at the end of climate change, just tipping point reached after after tipping point, leading to worsening misery for the future inhabitants or our communities, without end. It is an awful thought. This is an idea that is easy to dismiss if you are living now. But it is real, and we must acknowledge it. We Must Act Now.
