We have learned from COP 26 that the key to unlocking $130 trillion in private funding to support a transition to renewables is the effective deployment of a scheme for universally accepted standards for determining the ecofriendliness of a company, via the newly established International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB). My ideas is that government money across the world is ploughed immediately into covering the costs of the ISSB to employ the best and brightest scientists, policy makers and other employees to get the new standards up and running.
