Across the western world, about 50 million people who were about to book a ticket to travel next year have but their credit card back in the wallet, just to see how things play out a bit longer. Not great for airlines. But for a planet that is right on the edge of an absolutely disastrous climatic tipping point, maybe its not such a bad thing?
