With the passing of time comes knowledge, and that is an asset for leadership. But we now also know that with the passing of time the brain loses its 'plasticity' - it ability to think differently. Nerve pathways that are used more often are strengthened, and are used more often still. We live in a time that requires massive flexibility in societal behaviour. As societal norms are influenced by leadership, so we need flexible leaders. Whether emerging leaders are from the right or left side of politics, we know that the younger they are, the more open they will likely be to new ways of thinking. There is no doubt that is what we need in the world right now. So the idea is "If in doubt, vote young!"
