As an essential worker during the COVID lockdown I have colleagues who have been given parking fines during this time. This is crazy, considering the parking lots are empty anyway, and public parking has been free during this time (this is a privately regulated parking lot). The main issue here is that the ticket inspectors are clearly being considered essential workers during this period - surely not, when there is clearly no need?
