Pre-nominal_title_for_Journalists_worldwide

As a common man in support of journalism/ journalists and in an act of honouring journalists worldwide, I would like to suggest that journalists worldwide be approved the pre-nominal title of JR or JOUR or JRN. or a prefix which the world deems fit , as is the practice of using prefix of DR. for doctors, ER/Engr for engineers and AR. for architects, Adv. for advocates, Atty. for attorneys, Sol. for solicitors, CA for chartered accountants, CS for company secretaries, GS for geologists, Prof. for professors, Cmdr. for commanders and so on. This prefix will strengthen the identity, professional standing and social role/status of journalists world wide and boost their morale significantly. To start with, all journalist members of IFJ could be approved to use the JR/JOUR/JRN or the IFJ finalised prefix. Gradually or simultaneously all other eligible/recognised journalistic organisations/ corporations wordwide be informed accordingly to follow this practice, so that pre-nominal title for Journalists becomes a global norm at the earliest. Also journalists world wide could be allocated a symbol, for instance letter J inside a square printed on the front & back of (for instance)a yellow jersy/ shirt and on the flap of a yellow colour cap so that journalists will have a unique identity to enaure that they are not treated by police/armed forces, like agitators when the journalists are covering agitations etc. Sincerely, In global interest, Baskaran Kanakasabai N.B: I have emailed IFJ too about this.
