Fortnite
I’ve watched my son play it. He tells me all his mates play it. I hear 350m people around the world at any one time are playing it. Should there be a set of rules and responsibilities for companies that develop a game that reaches a certain percentage of the population? Maybe over a certain threshold such companies should contribute to a “social responsibility fund” or something like that to help those addicted and who’s lives ultimately are affected by such games. Not saying there’s anything wrong with coming up with a great game, just thinking there should be a little giving back as there is likely to be some kind of fallout from it. Speaking from experience I know it causes arguments in the home.
