I want a say in decisions that affect me
Because decision makers beyond my borders affect my security, I want a micro vote in their election. Eg, the USA government can make decisions that can cause me to live or die. Nowadays, we have the technology to do it. I want a micro vote, that might count for say one 10,000th of one vote in their election. The technology is there, isn't it?
Of course, if we had a stronger United Nations, I wouldn't need the security of voting for defacto world leaders.
Or maybe there could be some kind of global voting system where I get a micro vote on every major decision that affects me, instead of voting for people.
Universities need to study new political systems. Not just examine old or current ones.
