Does it really matter that I am an ex-christian who now embraces secular humanism. I have a deep interest in history, theology/mythology, geology, and other fields of social science. I have recently entered into my second marriage, am a heterosexual caucasian male who supports gender and sexual equality. Does it matter that I think we need to teach our children from a position of secularism and empirical evidence? Does any of this really matter? No, not one bit. What matters is that I am human, just as you are. Since we are both the same we should be treated the same regardless of demographic and social labels.
